Dr. Henri Escuriex, DVM
Dr. Henri Escuriex was born and raised in South Lousiana. He graduated from the Louisiana State School of Veterinary Medicine in 1983. He practiced as a large animal Veterinarian in South Louisiana for 3 years before moving to Gulf Breeze, Florida to establish Gulf Breeze Animal Hospital in 1987. He opened Soundside Animal Hospital in Navarre, Florida in December 2001.
Dr. Escuriex's interests are small animal medicine and oral, soft tissue, opthalmic and orthopedic surgery. He attends frequent Veterinary continuing education courses to keep informed of the latest medical and surgical treatments and techniques.
Dr. Tricia Pharr, DVM
Dr Tricia Pharr grew up in Northern Michigan, and relocated to Pensacola in 1997 to pursue marine biology. She volunteered with the Emerald Coast Wildlife Refuge and Stranding Center, assisting with rehabilitation and release of dolphins and whales, as well as turtle nest husbandry along the Gulf Coast. After receiving a Bachelor of Science degree from University of West Florida, she attended Ross University to obtain a Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine in 2005. She spent a year of clinical training at Auburn University before practicing in Savannah Georgia for two years. Dr Pharr joined Soundside Animal Hospital in 2008. She is a is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association, FVMA and American Animal Hospital Association. Time spent away from work is fulfilled with her beloved family: husband, Chris; two daughters, Saige and Piper; dog Reef and cat Cheetah.
Dr. Limarie Rodriguez, DVM
Dr. Limarie Rodriguez has worked as a small animal veterinarian in the surrounding area for 12 years. She is a 1997 graduate of Kansas State University College of Veterinary Medicine, where she obtained her Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine. In 1998, she completed an Internship in Small Animal Clinical Sciences at Michigan State University College of Veterinary Medicine. While proficient in many disciplines she particularly enjoys the challenges of Feline Medicine.
Dr. Rodriguez has been a local volunteer for the National Park Service Sea Turtle Patrol program for twelve years. She is a member of the Navarre Beach Sea Turtle Conservation Center board of directors. She was an active member of the Gulf Breeze Area Chamber of Commerce and served as Secretary on their Executive Board of Directors for 3 years and Chair of the Pet Fest Committee for 4 years. Due to her commitment to the community she was the 2010 Award Recipient for Volunteer of the Year of the Gulf Breeze Area Chamber of Commerce as well as the 2011 Award Recipient for the Nancy Keyes Award, an honor which is given to an individual who demonstrates exceptional, continued commitment to the betterment of the community. Dr. Rodriguez has served in other local organizations such as National Council on Alcoholism and Drug Dependence of NW Florida, ACLU of Florida, and the Goombay Festival, to name a few.
Dr. Rodriguez and her husband, Benjamin Stevenson, live on Pensacola Beach with their three cats and two dogs. They enjoy many beach activities including their work with Sea Turtles, boating and surfing to name a few.
