Dr. Jessica Wigley was born and raised in Williamsburg, VA.
She received her undergraduate degree in Biology and minors in Chemistry and Dance from The Honors College at the College of Charleston in South Carolina. In 2020, she graduated with her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine degree from Mississippi State University’s College of Veterinary Medicine.
Having grown up around the beach, the gulf coast was calling her name where she ultimately found and fell in love with Soundside Animal Hospital. Her passion for promoting the human-animal bond has been unwavering since she was 3 years old. She enjoys ophthalmology, small animal internal medicine, general surgery, and behavior management. She also enjoys mentoring pre-veterinary students and educating her staff on various aspects of veterinary medicine.
Outside of the office, Dr. Wigley can be found enjoying the beach, running, doing yoga, painting, traveling, or hanging out with her three chihuahuas: Rambo, Carlos, and Sprout.
